General Sales Conditions
PREAMBLE
These general sales conditions are settled between ORIGINAL LANYARDS sdi. Soluções de imagem e Publicidade uni. Lda., located at Av das Industrias 4A – Massamá 2745-838 Queluz - Portugal, with the VAT Nº 505 736 004, with a capital of 5.000 €, from now on referred to as Original Lanyards, and any individual or firm that buys through the internet Website www.originallanyards.com, from now on referred to as “User”.
ARTICLE 1 – OBJECT
1. These general sales conditions are designed to provide and define all relevant information on the procedures for ordering, sale, payment and delivery of purchases on the website www.originallanyards.com.
ARTICLE 2 – ORDER
1. The User can make his order, after having used the device on-line, by selecting “Add Quantity”.
2. To send his order, the User should:
a) Register on the Website www.originallanyards.com, providing the requested information (See privacy policy). b) Make the "Login" (providing a combination of email and password chosen by the user upon registration). c) Complete the information and choose the options that are available throughout the process (delivery and billing address; means of dispatch; payment method).
3. The sending of the order by choosing “Finish order” means the full and complete acceptance by the User of price and description of products available for sale as well of this contract.
4. Original Lanyards will honour the received orders online within the limits of available stocks. In the absence of availability of the product Original Lanyards undertakes to inform the user as soon as possible (maximum 30 days).
ARTICLE 3 – DELIVERY DATE
1. Delivery of orders can be made through different forms, as selected at the time of the order.
2. Original Lanyards undertakes to deliver the ordered items as soon as possible. As deadlines for the website, should be considered the period of production (production + preparation) plus the period of transport and they are translated into working days. These deadlines should be considered as indicative, however Original Lanyards will endeavour to always meet these deadlines, and cannot be held reliable for inconveniences or losses incurred by not fulfilling them. The maximum period of delivery is 30 days, except otherwise is agreed between Original Lanyards and the User.
3. To follow up an order in progress, the User can send an electronic message to the e-mail: production@originallanyards.com or contact by phone: +351 214 351 106 from 10 a.m. to 6.00 p.m., from Monday to Friday. To estimate the total time of an order until its delivery, the User should consider that counting period starts always in the date of receipt of payment or its debit authorization.
ARTICLE 4 – PAYMENT
1. Original Lanyards proposes to the User the following methods of payment:
a) Credit Card - Visa or MasterCard: The User, when opting for online payment by credit card as Visa or MasterCard / EuroCard, must put the data from the card at the end of the purchase, in secure areas of the site that ensure that the data are not violated or viewed at any time of the process. We guarantee that the money will only be withdrawn from your account on the day the order is shipped or the service provided is finished.

2. For payments by credit card, the debit is made at the dispatch of your order if obtained prior authorization to debit your bank account from the centres responsible for payment, without which your order can not be accepted.
3. The User will pay a global amount representing the value of the product plus the cost of transport.
4. Original Lanyards has partners who offer a range of functions necessary for the management of a secure payment over the Internet. Payments are processed through REDUNICRE. If the request is denied, contact the bank or the issuer of your card to get further clarification. We guarantee that the data of your card are not violated and will not be accessible by others.
ARTICLE 5 – PRICES
1. Prices are expressed in Euros, with taxes and charges not included, being added and discriminated on the final value the tax over the final consumer - VAT where applicable and in force at the date of payment of the order.
2. If there are any changes in the price of products for sale on this website, it’s guaranteed the conditions in force at the time of the order.
3. The prices shown in the "shopping cart" are always the most updated prices in force, but should only be considered valid while they are visible on a refreshed website page. The viewed price is only guaranteed after the order is duly registered.
ARTICLE 6: EXEMPTION FROM VAT TAX
Any product delivered in electronic form to an individual member of the European Union to any other member of the European Union will automatically be subject to the VAT tax of the issuing country, in this case Portugal. Only customers outside the European Union will be invoiced without VAT and the VAT declaration is the initiative of the beneficiary of the product. Companies from European Union who resell to another member of the European Union (other than where they are located) should provide their VAT number to be invoiced without VAT.
ARTICLE 7: INVOICING
Original Lanyards will issue the invoices-receipt electronically, accepting the client to receive them, unless otherwise requested. When an invoice is available electronically, it will not be issued any invoice on paper.
ARTICLE 8 – PROMOTIONS
1. On the website www.originallanyards.com there may be promotions that are visible in the product description. To ensure the discount, it is necessary that the product is added to the basket and the order is made, and that the payment is received, counting from the date of the finalization of the order.
2. To store a product in the "shopping cart" does not guarantee the price or the discount.
ARTICLE 9 – WARRANTIES
1. Any product purchased on the website www.originallanyards.com, except those mentioned in paragraph 7 of this article, can be exchanged or returned, without payment of compensation and without need to specify the reason, since the User explicitly expresses this intention within a maximum of 15 days after its reception contacting Original Lanyards by any of the following ways:

2. The process of return is simple, but varies according to the provenance, so the User must first contact Original Lanyards.
3. Original Lanyards does not accept any return with postage to pay or against payment, committing to reimburse the User within a maximum of 30 days after receipt of the returned product.
4. The products must be returned no later than thirty days after its receipt, in the same way in which reached the hands of the User and without any fault. The licensed products are required to keep the seal of guarantee of authenticity of the product.
5. If the resulting amount from the exchange of products of an order exceeds the initial amount of the same, the User must pay the difference, using a way of payment available under Article 4.
6. If the resulting amount from the exchange of products of an order exceeds the initial amount of the same, or in case of return, the User can choose one of the following forms to refund the amount paid in excess:
a) Credit (valid for use on future purchases on the site www.originallanyards.com); or b) Refund by bank transfer to the indicated account. Articles sent free in form of gifts or bonus, are not reimbursed.
7. When ordered items have been prepared in accordance with the specifications of the User, customizing them using the opportunity afforded in the virtual store, it is not possible to exercise the right of return or exchange referred to in paragraph 1 of this Article, except if the referred articles have some defect in manufacture.
ARTICLE 10 – CLAIMS

ARTICLE 11 – CONTRACTUAL LIABILITY
1. ORIGINAL LANYARDS can not be held responsible for breach of contract, first, in case of force majeure, particularly in cases of public nuisance or total or partial strike, including postal services and means of transport or communications, or, on the other hand, if attributable to the User.
2. ORIGINAL LANYARDS is not responsible for any damage or inconvenience caused to the User by using the Internet network, such as interruption of service, external intrusion, anomalies caused by computer virus or any other situation irrelevant.
3. ORIGINAL LANYARDS can not be held responsible for consequences resulting from misuse of products sold on the website.
ARTICLE 12 – PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
The User authorizes ORIGINAL LANYARDS to use by automated means the personal data provided by the purchase order. Read our Privacy Policy.
ARTICLE 13 – ADVERTISING
1. The User can authorize or not, the receipt of advertising from the website www.originallanyards.com and can at any time change his decision.
2. The only purpose of our advertising is to inform the User about new products or promotions.
ARTICLE 14 – INDUSTRIAL AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
1. The articles available in the virtual store are marketed under trademark, therefore their counterfeit or imitation is illegal and the perpetrators are liable to civil and criminal procedure.
2. All contents of the website originallanyards.com are an intellectual property of ORIGINAL LANYARDS and may not be copied or reproduced.
3. The User that has a Website on the Internet and who wishes to place, for his personal use, a link that refers directly to the Website www.originallanyards.com, must ask permission to ORIGINAL LANYARDS
4. In this last item, the authorisation does not set a tacit agreement of partnership.
ARTICLE 15 – PARTNERSHIPS
Users who are interested in being business partners of ORIGINAL LANYARDS, for marketing of products available on this website, either as an agent or with the status of franchisee, should come into contact with this company.
ARTICLE 16 – PROOF
The Parts agree that the computerized records, preserved in the computer systems of ORIGINAL LANYARDS in safety, will be proof of communications, orders and payments between both parts.
ARTICLE 17 – APPLICABLE LAW AND COMPETENT FORUM
1. The law applied to any contractual relationship established through the website www.originallanyards.com is the Portuguese law.
2. To solve any and all conflict emerging from this contract, the competent shall be the court of the District of CRC Cascais, with expressed resignation of any other.
ORIGINALLANYARDS.COM GUARANTEE
All products made by ORIGINAL LANYARDS are fully guaranteed for material and workmanship. All imprints and products are guaranteed to match the proof which you will be sent, within industry standards*. If we fail to ship the promised product at the promised time, we will replace your order at our expense.
CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
It is important that customers understand their responsibilities to properly communicate deadlines and imprint requirements.
DETAILS OF IMPRINT
Printing on lanyards is not printing on paper. The lanyard surface is rough and some detail will be lost compared to an actual computer graphic. Small lettering may fill in. Customers must understand this, especially when submitting small and detailed graphics.
SHIPPING INFORMATION
originallanyards.com will make every possible effort to ship your goods in the most economical way given your in-hands date. Most orders will take 8-10 days to produce.
If you have a deadline or event, you must specify it to us in writing on your order. This is very important so we can properly advise you on how we should ship them, etc. All orders will be shipped using ORIGINALLANYARDS.com’s account. All goods become customer’s property at the time they are accepted by the carrier. Include your order number, name and phone number with the graphic so we know which order it goes with and can contact you if there are questions.
Allowable Image Formats: The very best is Adobe Illustrator in PC format. This is professional art and we don't expect everyone to be able to provide graphics in this format. CorelDRAW - convert files into .eps before sending in Illustrator, all fonts should be converted to outlines.
Other okay formats: .JPG, .TIF, .BMP, .GIF, are all acceptable but they must be large high resolution files (400 dpi or more). Sizing: unless otherwise requested by you, we will imprint the image to the size that looks best, or is the largest we can on a particular item.
CANCELLATIONS
Cancellations must be in writing and approved by us in writing. Cancelled orders will incur any charges which have been incurred by us up to the time of the cancellation. |
